Some of the work that I did:

 

Frames -Make frame for the HVAC system.

Cut and Sand- all the door and windows frames before install the doors and windows. Varnish.

OSB- Assemble OSB panels to the exterior envelope.

Doors- Assemble doors, clean, sand prepares varnish.

Siding- (envelope) Assemble, clean, sand and removes spots. Rinse with solution and rinse gun spray. Stained woods and varnish.

Decking- Build and assemble wood deck.

Insulation panels- Assemble insulation panel

Sheet cover- Plastic sheet that covers the OSB panels



Moving the Element House -from site (Warehouse Power Plant Neil Ave. To Florida and Lincoln).

Electrical- Introduce rope into the pipes so the electrical wire could be introduce in place from one end to the other side. 

Clean interiors and exterior of the solar house.

Solar Panels.  Assemble in the roof.

Flashing. Cover parapet with aluminum.

Rails: Assemble hand rail for exterior decking.

Windows: Put Silicone, and flashing in the window

Electrical: install electrical in mechanical room.

Ducks. Framing.

 


Project Competition of the most self energy efficiency solar house. The house has to generated all the energy through the sun. Have to operates all the electrical equipment as well as enough  energy to charge an electric car. The competition was exhibited in Washington DC October of 2007 where 20 Universities from all over the world showed their advances in sustainable design .

The UIUC Solar House. Won two awards:


  1. 1.First place: Best interior environmental comfort zone.

  2. 2.First Place: Marketability (Efficient and the most Economical house in the competition).
